April sees Basildon band Colourkinesis finish their month long Step into the Sunshine Tour at Injury Time, performing to their loyal local fans. Other venues on their tour include The Rock Garden, Covent Garden and New Cross Inn, New Cross.

14th February 2006

Headlining this month will be a band new to Injury  Time, WIMM. Taking their influences from bands such as Nirvana, WIMM will sure have a lively set.

Also playing and making a welcome return are Six Foot Children; a threesome from Heybridge that went down extremely well on their last visit. They have since released their second EP, entitled "Occident", which I'm sure should be available to purchase on the night.

Another band debuting this month are Maldon punk rockers, Mr Happy Chainsaw. Recently signed to Chormium Records, Mr Happy Chainsaw will be releasing their first record on the 20th March. The gig at Injury Time will be part of the Whore Tour 2006. You saw them here first!

5th February 2006

Anyone who saw the band 'Girls that scratch' play Injury Time a couple of months ago, may be interested to know that they will get some airplay on 'XFM unsigned' on this coming Monday 6th February, at around 10pm with Clare Sturgess. They will be looking for votes on the XFM website to gain more airplay. Just goes to prove that 'Injury Time at New Lodge' really does rock! Good luck GTS
